To use - Affix the template to card with removable tape. Emboss the shape on the back with the aid of a light box. Unlike the Doily Star Stencil this design is symmetrical so you may get good embossing results using your Big Shot, Cuttlebug or similar type of machine. You will still need to finish the design with a thin pricking tool as described below

Prick the holes with a thin pricking tool.

Embroider the pattern with a thin needle. Always start and finish threads with a piece of sellotape to keep your work flat.
